Donations - How it all went down...

Wow guys. Simply wow. As I stated the other day I managed to raise more than enough for my biking efforts. I made a little chart this morning to show what happened.
First off, this chart shows donations across the last three months.
Now the next one shows the same as compared to the total donations:
I met my goal yesterday and exceeded it by $20. Therefore I raised 103.64%. w00t!
Now its all about that Savannah ride. So far I have raised more than 60 bucks. That means there is $190 to go. The race is not until May, so I think I will be fine.
Again, thank you guys so much on all of your help. I really appreciate it.
PS: Those that donated via paypal, your donations is going to go to the Savannah ride.
Getting back into it.

Nearly nine weeks after my shoulder dislocation I got back on my bike. While I was in sling mode I rode the stationary bike nearly every day. Today, I went to the silver comet and did 40 miles. It was rough as it the wind chill made it fee like it was 50 degrees outside, not 65. Anyway, I did the first 20 miles in about hour twenty, which is not bad considering that I did not draft off of anyone. The way back was much longer as I did it in over hour thirty. My legs were getting pretty tired and I did not do anything in order to prevent cramps. Next time I know to drink more water, get more carbs and protein and not get Charlie horsed again.
w00t!

There is less than one month until the race. I think I'm ready physically but financially I'm not all there. I thought that my friends would be willing to spare five bucks but I guess with the economy and such people are afraid to let go of their Washington's.
Weight, speed, and other homogeneous polynomial things...

I have to say that I am really grateful for dislocating my shoulder again. It really made me go out there in the gym and p-p-p-push it to the limit on the stationary bike. Thanks to the cardio overload I was able to drop a few pounds and somehow become more aerodynamic!
Anyway, were getting here to the final stretch. The bike race is in less than 40 days. The weather is getting better. I'm getting over my cold and enjoying the pollen once again. This means I can finally get back to riding outside. I had my bike tuned and all that I need to do now is grease my shoes so that I can clip out like Speedy Gonzales.
I hope that by next weekend I can start riding with the team during the Sat/Sun rides. If that fails I will try to do a 75 mile run on Silver Comet. That place is always fun. However, I don't think I'm going to go back to Stone Mountain. Don't want to jinx the shoulder once again.
Like EMPD I'm back in Business!

My doctors, and I mean that in the plural as I have two of them for my shoulder, said I should go back to resuming my normal workout and biking habits. That means I'm going back to weight lifting. w00t! And biking, w00t x2!!
Now what sucks here is that I have gotten sick so I really cannot train or do anything fun outside until this cold goes away. Hopefully, this will be sometime soon, preferably tomorrow. It's kinda weird that this is my second time getting sick this year. I guess this is a pollen agitated sickness. Those darn trees!
Anyway, my plan is to continue on with my regular boxing and cycling work outs and add in some shoulder exercises to make sure my arm holds during the race.
